Las Vegas Weddings

Getting married in Las Vegas, you can set your imagination wild. From drive through ceremonies, Elvis-impersonating officiants, and little white chapels on the Strip, to more traditional, elegant affairs at lush locations on or far away from the Strip.

Here's I've included some of the more traditional and elegant locations for your Las Vegas wedding. But before you get hitched, you must first apply for a wedding license. You can do this at the Marriage License Bureau on 201 Clark Avenue. For more information, call: 702. 671.0600.

Now onto the fun part. Listed below are some places on and off Las Vegas Boulevard. The majority of these places have staff who are experts in planning and coordinating weddings.

On the Strip wedding locales:

Bally's - Associated with the Paris wedding chapel (see Paris below).

Bellagio Chapel - Old-world European feel, yet quaint and cozy. Multiple wedding locale options. Great hotel to be in as following the ceremony, guests can enjoy the dancing water show.

Caesars Palace - Another Las Vegas casino classic. Rennovated property with a very popular shopping plaza - the Forum Shoppes. Centrally located on the Strip.

Cili at Bali Hai Golf Club -- Lush tropical oasis, located on the South stretch of the Strip. Elegant, unique, cozy interior and wonderful catering and planning for big events.

Excalibur - Cool chapel. Great for a time period wedding or anyone enamoured with the Medieval ages.

Flamingo Hilton - Another tropical setting with six varied options. Classic Las Vegas. And real flamingos and penguins can be found at this hotel!

Four Seasons - Secluded vibe... on the Strip, yet feels a world away. Simple, elegant locale with multiple reception options. Ceremony option by a graceful outdoor waterfall.

Mandalay Bay - Elegant casino and hotel. A 2008 "the knot best of weddings" pick. Many wedding plan options.

Mirage - An understatedly cool hotel and casino that offers wedding options to meet everyone's desires.

Monte Carlo - Simple, elegant. Multiple choices for your wedding.

Paris - For all the Francophiles out there. Romantic French vibe, complete with "minature" Eiffel Tower.

Planet Hollywood - What used to be the Aladdin, is now ph. Different wedding packages. A youthful, trendy vibe.

Rio - A selection of wedding locales and great nightlife and dining.

Sahara - Vintage Las Vegas, but with new architecture and a new essence. Several wedding packages available.

Treasure Island (TI) - Multiple wedding packages available. Cool casino motif, including the outdoor theatre production.

Tropicana - Vintage Las Vegas. Indoor chapel or an outdoor gazebo setting for the ceremony, both which radiate a tropical vibe.

Venetian - Lovely option to capture the romance of Venice, Italy. Replicated Venetian architecture and gondola rides. Multiple ceremony choices.

Wynn - Elegant casino. Multiple options from ornate, full-blown affairs to basic ceremonies.

Off the Strip wedding locales:

Springs Preserve - Near the old center of town, with a lovely view of the Strip. A beautiful desert oasis for education and inspiration. A cafe by Wolfgang Puck graces the property.

Angel Park - On a golf course, an elegant fountain invites you into the restaurant/bar area. Relatively affordable catering options for weddings. Conveniently located next to the Suncoast and the JW Marriott in the Northwest region of town, making for easy lodging for out of town guests.

Bear's Best - Great Strip view. Lush lawn for wedding. Exclusive golf club vibe. Northwest side of town.

Emerald at Queensridge - Northeast side of town. Great location (near the Suncoast and JW Marriott). Beautiful ceremony set-up. Huge reception dining area.

Green Valley Ranch - Located in Henderson, Nevada (Southeast portion of town), right next to the District, a wonderful outdoor shopping plaza. Great wedding photo opportunities.

JW Marriott - Elegant locale. Convenient location away from the Strip (in the Northwest area of town). Trusted JW Marriott name.

Lake Las Vegas - a gorgeous Italian village (and lake) transplanted into the middle of the Mojave Desert. Away from the Strip and technically located in Henderson, Nevada, this is a beautiful location for a wedding. Towards the Southeast area of the valley.

Lakeside Weddings - Quaint outdoor ceremony locale on the Northwest side, overlooking a community lake. Next to the charmingly delightful Marche Bacchus French Bistro and Wine Market.

Mount Charleston Lodge - Another cozy mountain lodge. On the top of Mount Charleston with beautiful views and different menu options.

Paiute Golf Resort - Located on Paiute land on the way to Mount Charleston, this resort is secluded and has beautiful vistas as well as a large dining area perfect for an elegant reception.

Red Rock Casino - Located in the Summerlin region of Las Vegas, this casino is nestled near a beautiful stretch of mountains, including Red Rock. Great spa services and trendy dining choices on top of the wedding options.

Red Rock Country Club - Prime location, beautiful Strip and Red Rock mountain views. Exclusive locale.

Revere Golf Club - Panoramic view of the Strip. In the Southeast portion of the valley, Henderson, Nevada.

Siena Golf Club - An Tuscany-inspired locale, elegantly cozy interior, fireplace outside, lush golf course. Northwest area of town.

The Hotel on Mount Charleston - Very cozy and classy. A mountain retreat. Several options. Beautiful mountain views.

Valley of Fire - Gorgeous outdoor, natural setting.
