Lovely Las Vegas: Shizen Japanese Restaurant

Shizen Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar
within the JW Marriott Resort and Casino in Summerlin, Las Vegas:

The order of butterfish bento box came with miso soup, a side salad with a delicate Asian dressing, and free green tea (which is cool because it is usually only free at authentic restaurants nearer to Chinatown).

I couldn't resist the pork and veggie gyoza... it came was 5 pieces...
and had a delicious hot pepper and citrus dipping sauce.

Here's the butterfish bento box, complete with sashima, sushi, and tempura.

The bento was also accompanied by a choice of ice cream. Here's the red bean ice cream (yum!).

Overall, the experience at Shizen was good. While, we probably still favor Ichiza (for atmosphere, variety, and cost), it is nice to find another Japanese restaurant to throw into the mix.

It does look quite pretty! But I agree, JW Marriott is quite out of the way...
