Lovely Las Vegas: Paul Lowe's Eat & Make Cheddar, Dill, and Pumpkin Seed Biscuits

We made a move to a new casa, with super groovy oven above, last weekend, with the final boxes brought over late Sunday afternoon.  After a week of unpacking the most crucial boxes, this past weekend, I felt it was time to *attempt to* make something delicious. 

Enter Paul Lowe's delightful Eat & Make. Page 31 highlights savory muffins/biscuits, filled with cheddar cheese, fresh dill, and green onions/scallions. 

I thought it would be pretty simple and almost all the ingredients were readily available in the sparsely stocked fridge at the new casa. Two glitches did arise: I couldn't find our pumpkin seeds even though I was certain they were somewhere in the pantry... This is one of many MIA things in the move thus far... Anyway, those were to be sprinkled on the top of the biscuits and would have made for an excellent crunch! Next opps was that apparently the recipe was supposed to make 10 servings... But I miscalculated my scoops and came up with only 9. C'est la vie. 

However, despite the little mishaps, a lovely tray of savoury goodness emerged from the oven. Perfect to grab in the AM for the quick-pre-work breakfast or to enjoy later in the day. Mange takk Sweet Paul for an easy and delish recipe!
