Lovely Las Vegas: Cosmopolitan Wicked Spoon Buffet
Being with growing baby belly bump, the stomach doesn't have a lot of room these days.
The dinner plan with friends had been to visit a tapas place at the Cosmopolitan.
Upon arrival, we learned that it would be $125 a person!
So to the Wicked Spoon buffet we turned instead... Although I didn't eat a lot, I did enjoy some Asian faire, including fried rice, shrimp & veggie stir-fry, and some veggie Vietnamese-esque pho.
And a truffle-oil infused potato gratin in the cutest of personal cooking ware.
Farro tabouli...
Triple filtered water... in a very nifty bottle.
And no matter what a lightweight of a stomach one has, there is always room for dessert, no?
Okay, so I could not technically finish all this and after a few bits of the sugary desserts, I was feeling a little sweet overload. So I cleansed the palette by finishing all the berries, downing the filtered water, and then following all that with a bit of savory-salty flavors in the form of a thin slice of ricotta pizza.
Despite the sugar roadbock, all these little creations visually did delight.
What do you think?
Beautiful desserts, no?
